BioBlitz (from a combination of the words Bio=life and Blitz=something quick and intense) is an event with a dual purpose – to record biodiversity and to enable the public to actively participate in biodiversity monitoring. By identifying and recording species with a team of professional scientists and amateur naturalists, BioBlitz offer an opportunity to gain crucial knowledge to protect biodiversity at local and national level.
The "BioBlitz Tróia" is a 2-day event organised by BioDiversity4All .
This is a great opportunity to learn about biodiversity and recording the presence of species in the Tróia Peninsula region in Portugal.
