Env. Science Café #4: Citizen science on air quality - part I

In Poland low air quality is problem in most cities. The problem is mainly caused by individual heating systems. Around 10 per cent of air polution is generated by transport. Although it's smaller percentage of problem, it's generated all around the year and probably is not solvable by regional or national government.

During our event we would like to demonstrate how you can measure individualy the problem and how can you initiate meaningful actions to deal with it. We will demonstrate small experiment with diffusion tubes to be localated around busy places in Katowice to monitor NO and SO pollutant.
