Hanley Park BioBlitz

A BioBlitz (from a combination of the words Bio=life and Blitz=something quick and intense) is an event with a dual purpose – to record biodiversity and to enable the public to actively participate in biodiversity monitoring. By identifying and recording species with a team of professional scientists and amateur naturalists, BioBlitz offer an opportunity to gain crucial knowledge to protect biodiversity at local and national level.

This event is part of the UK network for BioBlitz run by the Bristol Natural History Consortium.
